Sree Narayana Guru Internatinal School (SNGIS) is one of the prestigious educational institutions run by Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti, a 54 year old educational and charitable organisation. Sree Narayana Guru was an embodiment of all virtues, values and rare qualities seldom found in human race. He was a mystic, a philosopher, a visionary, a scientist, a social reformer and a poet, all blended into one. To millions of his devotees, Sree Narayana Guru is an incarnation of God. He was a saintly contemplative man who could impart wisdom and give enlightenment to a seeker of truth. His teachings are straightforward and simple, bringing out spiritual, moral and material revolution.
Guru placed dignity and self-respect of mankind at the highest pedestal above all religions. “Whatever be the religion, it is enough, if man becomes virtuous” was his message. Guru revolutionalised the social, religious and philosophical system. Guru authored 62 books which are acclaimed as philosophical treasures ever produced by any saint. The entire life of Guru was full of activities for the welfare and prosperity of the mankind irrespective of Caste, Creed, Religion and Language. Guru was an epitome of original thinking and creativity. Guru was Patanchali in Yoga, Sankara in wisdom, Manu in the art of governance, Buddha in renunciation, Mohammed in strength of spirit & Christ in humility.

Annual Sports Day
Our school celebrates Annual Sports Day every year with great excitement and joy. The event starts with a welcome speech by the Principal. Students take part in many sports activities like races, long jump, relay, frog race, and tug-of-war. Everyone cheers for their house and supports their friends. The atmosphere becomes very energetic and colourful. At the end, the winners receive medals and certificates during the prize distribution ceremony. Sports Day teaches us teamwork, discipline, and the importance of staying active and healthy. It is one of the most enjoyable days in our school.
In the integration of yoga education, the present system of education can endorse human values to reform attitude and behaviour, relief from stress & strain, build up healthy lifestyle, shape high moral, character & develop refined personality of the students so as to make them a complete well-being.
