ENGLISH LANGUAGE DAY

World English Day, also known as English Language Day, is celebrated every year on April 23 to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of the English playwright and poet William Shakespeare."Brevity is the soul of wit", "Cowards die many times before their death, the valiant tastes death but once.." or "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown."....The writer of these golden words, William Shakespeare was born on 23rd April and this day is celebrated as "English Language Day" worldwide.To give a glimpse about the life of this great writer a small PPT presentation on Shakespeare as well as the birth and journey of English language till date was shown and discussed with the students of SNG International School. Students enthusiastically participated and also get to know about the richness and necessity of English language.
